Sarkisian also apparently attempted to coach that ASU game while intoxicated. You have to think that he's out at this point.
Georgia is extremely unlikely to get rid of Richt. He's firmly entrenched over there. They'd need to completely come apart down the stretch. They've lost 2 games. One they expected to go either way and one where they lost their star player on the first play from scrimmage. They're really not out of the East race yet. LSU could beat Florida and a Georgia win over the Gators would put them in Atlanta.
UVA is almost certainly going to make a change.
I don't think anyone can make any kind of call on Spurrier. He can write his own exit time at USC right now. If he cares about the program he'll make his exit sooner than later, though. I think he's just not in it anymore and for all that he's been annoying to everyone else over his time coaching in the conference it would suck to see an iconic coach shuttled out of the door after a string of bad seasons 2-3 years from now.
I can't imagine the brass at Texas NOT giving Strong one more year. They'd need to look really, really bad down the stretch.
Who could Rutgers get that was better than Flood might be why they haven't made a change. Aren't they somewhat cash-strapped?
Malzahn is safe at AU for now. Even blowout losses wouldn't completely call for his ouster just yet. Chizik got booted bc Malzahn was seen as the architect of his success. Right now Auburn fans are blaming bad QB play and defensive issues for their W-L record.
GT has been a big disappointment this season. I had them in my preseason top 4, I think. They've completely fallen apart now, though. There's no reason for them to not have a better team than they have. They're smack dab in the center of the best place to recruit in the country (The Atlanta metro area/N. Georgia), they have a great academic reputation, a fun city environment, and a long tradition of success in the sport. It feels like they're wasting all that now.
I don't think Golden has done that poorly at Miami this year. I think the expectations there might be a little out of whack with reality. If they don't finish with 7-8 wins I'd be surprised.
