This is the last time I'll bring up Dalvin Cook's spectacular 2015 season.
I knew Cook wasn't going to win, but to finish 7th behind guys like Baker Mayfield and Keenan Reynolds is just a joke.
Cook joined Reggie Bush as the only two players in the past 35 years to average 7.9+ YPC and rush for 1600+ yards.
It's just a shame Cook got hurt. Because he left a full 150 yards on the field just on plays where he went down on his own because of the hammy, which would have put his YPC around 8.5 and a full 3 YPC above Derrick Henry.
Even still, Cook and Henry both went for just shy of 200 yards against Florida in similar pull-away games. Cook had 26 carries. Henry had 44 carries.
It's not like FSU was a 6 or 8 win team. 10 wins, one loss on a freak kick return and one loss at Clemson. We're rated #9 and going to a New Year's 6 bowl game.
I also thought Marquis Williams would get more love after Carolina put up 37 points against Clemson, but it just seemed like the attention really was going to three very good players this time.
