so cableflyguy got married last weekend and is on his honeymoon. that's why he hasnt commented on recent wade news. in his absence, i felt the need to add to the thread.
So Dwyane Wade, once again, has to let the world know about every little injury he has. this time, it's his knee. he declared that because his knee is hurting, he won't dunk. why does he feel the need to make his injuries the center of attention all the time? it's ridiculous.
so tonight, with his knee that hurts so bad that he has to let the world know about it, he scores 23 points and dunks in the final couple of minutes to help secure the victory. wow, he must be like Jesus or something. he has all these injuries but he's still one of the best players in the game - as if no other star player doesnt have to battle through injuries.
how many nagging injuries do Tim Duncan, Dirk, and Nash battle through? Tim Duncan has had terrible foot problems for the past couple of years. do you ever hear him talk about it? nope. Dirk has rolled an ankle probably 7 or 8 different times - one time so bad, everyone thought it was broken. everytime though, he shakes it off and when asked about it says it's not that big of deal and he'll be ready for the next game. steve nash has had chronic back problems for the past few years . . does he ever mention it? no. he just goes out and plays hard every night and leads his team to 60 victories.
but wade has a sniffle so he brings a big box of kleenex to his press conference. he has a hurt leg in the nba finals, questions whether he'll be able to play or not, scores 20+ pts in the first half and then at halftime, complains that he's not close to 100%. he hurts his shoulder and to let everyone know he's hurt, he gets wheeled out in a wheelchair. and now, he tells the world he wont dunk because his knee hurts and it's not good for it. WHY?? he's a heckuva player, but stop bringing every little injury you have to the world's attention.
