FT's: Minnesota 23 Wade 20.
Just thought I'd add to your little thread.
It never ends.....
Sweet! It's back! Mavs fans are whiners and DWade is the most-fouled man in the NBA! This is awesome!
yeah woo hoo! good riddance to 2007!
I did my best to make sure it never REALLY went away....this is my favorite thread of all-time.
Dwyade to cry and leave the heat? Riley to possibly step down (not surprising....the Heat aren't winning so why would Riles coach)?
How about if the Heat and Lakers swap their crybaby superstars? And a blimp crashes into their planes en route? That would be a shame.

I think it's funny that it is widely recognized as a sham series. TMac said it. Mulitple writers and players have said it.
speaking of poor officiating . . bennett salvatore!
i was watching the suns-spurs game in phoenix on sunday, and salvatore is reffing the baseline underneath the spurs basket. there's a loose ball and shaq saves it from going out of bounds to his teammate and the suns start a fastbreak . . it was a terrific effort and the crowd was energized. only problem was, his foot was clearly about an entire 12 inches out of bounds. it was painfully obvious and salvatore was staring right at it. why didnt he blow the whistle? i think he, too, thought it was a great effort and didnt want to stop the energy of the game. that's the only conclusion i can arrive at. sound familiar? wade gave great effort . . TREMENDOUS effort, in fact. salvatore rewarded him . . again and again and again
The Miami Heat tank job is reaching epic proportions!
Not only is Dwyade sitting out so they can keep loosing games, Pat Riley might not even bother to show up!
What a joke.
*Riley revealed plans last week to miss some games to scout players who may be entering this year's NBA draft, an unusual move but one that the team obviously feels is important in its rebuilding plan.*
i guess there's nothing against this as he's also the GM. but remember the last few years teams like boston were accused of dropping games on purpose and it was a huge deal. this is even more blatant!
I just looked at the stats for the site, and this is the most active thread on gamedayers.
Glad I could be a part of history.
Oh btw, the Heat continued displaying their amazing tanking skills tonight..wow what a pathetic team.

wade hooking up with star jones?
2 and a half years later and people are still talking about it!
Almost 3 years later....

i hope the mavs go after wade in 2010. it's obvious that's the only way they could ever hope to win anything. if wade were a maverick and we won the title, i'd love him.
until that day comes, F Wade, F Bennett Salvatore, F David Stern, F Pat Riley and F the NBA
(btw F means Forget)
Just because I want to contribute.
Ben and CFG, what is your take on Dwight Howard and Carmelo Anthony? Do my guys get a lot of calls? I am biased towards both of these guys and just wonders what an outside fan thinks. I was kind of humored by the colossal beat down that Superman and Co. handed 'Bron and the Cavs on national TV last night.
I must admit that I find the Pistons - of all the hacking, sloppy, have-your-fans-start-a-brawl-that-wrecks-the-opposing-team franchises - complaining about officials is of great comedy to me.
Sure, those guys get calls -- but neither of them is on the level of Dwyadyey/Kobe/Lebron.
i think howard and melo get calls in the same way dirk gets some calls. it all depends on who they're facing.
dirk gets calls against traditionally mediocre teams. but against the premier teams he doesnt get calls.
i think howard and melo fall in that camp. i'm sure fans of the twolves, grizz, hawks, etc, think those guys get a ton of calls cause they probably do against those teams. but against the lakers, cavs, and spurs they dont.
i think kobe gets more calls than those guys but not more than wade or lebron. ive seen kobe struggle to get calls before. never have i witnessed lebron or wade struggle to get calls - except in international play when the refs either dont care or hate america.
to me it's easy as far as the star level getting calls
5) all other all-nba type guys - dirk, howard, melo, garnett, etc
Good god, you guys are still crying about this sh*t?
