This was a much more interesting week than I was expecting. Start by saying just glad PSU survived Iowa. Seen the too many super close losses against the Hawkeyes ruin potentially really memorable seasons (’96, ’08, ’09) both home and away, this was shaping up to be another one of them.
Friday, Utah beat Arizona in a game the Wildcats had plenty of opportunities. But, the outcome is the result of why Utah has the record they have and Arizona has the one they have.
FSU fell to NCSU in a noon game that wasn’t on TV in my area (local affiliate showed Pitt game), so can’t comment much. FSU has just had their season really messed with, with the injury, the weeks off.
Okie St falls to TCU at home. Only saw attempted comeback in fourth quarter and some stats about turnovers. But, being behind by 20, not good.
UGA whipped Miss St pretty good after Miss St had their big last week.
UF squeaked by UK.
SD St won a close one over Air Force. Haven’t looked at their schedule, but have to think that is one of their toughest games for the year.
Oregon falls to ASU late at night. Another game without TV.
